Tel Aviv Bound!
Hi all – Woke up at 2:00 AM, in order to pick up my friends Mia and Cha Cha, before heading to Guadalaraja airport for our departure to Tel Aviv. Our flight left at 6:00 AM but we had pit-stops in Houston, TX and then Newark, NJ before we were on our way to Tel Aviv. Our total flight time was about 18 hour. In short, a very long flight.
We arrived in Tel Aviv around 9:40 AM on Sunday morning, tired and ready to relax. We grabbed our luggage, proceeded through customs and border-control and then hopped on a bus to our hotel, The Seasons on the Sea, in Natanya. Our hotel is beautiful and situated on the Mediterranean Sea with our room and balcony facing of the water.
Cha Cha and I were tired and thought showers would wake us up, since we had the whole day ahead of us. We walked down to a little cafe, and there she had fresh squeezed lemonade and I had a glass of an Israli wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon. Tomorrow, tours and trips around Jerusalem. Stay tuned for more!
